On Oct 10, 2018, Hurricane Michael slammed into the Florida panhandle as a Category 5 storm and the fourth-strongest landfalling hurricane to hit the contiguous United States. It formed quickly and did not give the locals much time to prepare. Due to other natural disasters in the nation around the same time this devastated area did not get much publicity and therefore not much donated money or volunteers.
CPS moved here in the middle of Oct 2020. We started working for Habitat for Humanity, helping build homes for people who lost theirs or are living in very deplorable conditions since the hurricane. We were building simple but nice 1,000-1,200 square foot homes from start to finish other than the concrete work , plumbing and electrical.
We have also done some work for Tri-State Association helping people who do not have the funds to finish their repairs
